Tom joined the company in July 2013 having received his Master of Planning from the University of the West of England. Tom has a strong planning background and a sound understanding of the policy and technical detail involved with both small and large scale planning projects.
He plays a pivotal role in our West and Wales team and his technical know-how coupled with his enthusiasm and ability to perfect new skills has seen him rise quickly to the position of Account Manager.
Tom has been at the forefront of delivering communication and consultation strategies for clients in a range of sectors. These have included residential schemes for Barratt Homes, infrastructure delivery for Severn Trent Water and surface coal mining for Miller Argent. He has also supported the delivery programs for clients of national significance; these have included Vattenfall’s Mynydd Lluest y Graig Wind Farm and Tata Steel’s Internal Power Generation Scheme.
In his spare time Tom is a keen football player and supporter and enjoys going to live music events.
My proudest moment was hearing the DCO application for Tata Steel had been accepted by the Planning Inspectorate. This was the first NSIP consultation that I had been involved with and therefore was very proud that I had contributed to a successful piece of work of national significance
