PPS has made three appointments to its Bristol team to support its ambitious growth plans.

New team members are Associate Partner Ben Lowndes, Account Director Steve Jolly and Isaac Casson, who has joined as an Associate.

Ben joins PPS after gaining significant experience of communications and PR campaigns for major housing and regeneration projects across the South of England, including Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone and Bristol & Bath Science Park.

Steve has held senior political campaigning and communications roles nationally and across the South West and is working with PPS’ housebuilder and energy clients. He will play an important role in building on PPS’ presence in Devon and Cornwall.

The team will be supported by Isaac Casson, who has worked as a researcher in the Cornwall office of former Liberal Democrat MP Stephen Gilbert before last year’s General Election.

The team will look to build on its activity in the residential development and energy sectors and extend the team’s PR, media and campaign expertise to clients.

Its client list includes major housebuilders and EDF Energy, who have been supported for a number of years on local communications activity relating to the proposed new build nuclear power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset.

Managing Director of PPS Group Andy Martin said: “PPS has a great track record of delivering high profile and successful campaigns for clients in the South West. Our new team members will help us to build on that reputation.

“These are exciting and challenging times for the South West and I know the team is relishing the prospect of working with clients in the area and offering the support and advice to help them succeed.”

Ben added: “How organisations communicate with their stakeholders and the wider public on big issues that affect a community is more important and complicated now than it’s ever been. Working in a team that knows its business sectors extremely well, and can combine this understanding with the skills clients need, is a hugely exciting prospect for me.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team, the wider group and its clients.”

PPS’ South West team is supported by Account Managers Tom Hammond and Deb Campbell, who work across the region to support housebuilding, energy and infrastructure projects.
